Simple Pizza

2 tsp dry yeast

1 cup warm water

1 tsp salt

2 cups wholemeal flour

toppings of your choice - I add a variety of vegetables with mozzarella .

​In a small bowl add 1/2 of the warm water with 2tsp yeast and let it rest for 5minutes until its foamy

In a stand mixer add the 2 cups of wholemeal flour with salt

Add in the water (1/2 with yeast and remaining 1/2 cup) and using the dough hook to knead the dough for 2-3minutes or this can be done by hand

Once the dough is knead, use your hands to form a ball shape and place in an oiled bowl. Cover and let it set for 30minutes

Once this has doubled in size then cut the dough into 3-4 similar spaced balls. Stretch the dough in the shape of your choice and bake for 4minutes

Remove from the oven and add the toppings of your choice and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.
