-
1/4 coconut oil or olive oil ▫️1/2 apple sauce
-
1 cup oat milk
Frosting
-
1 cup coconut cream
-
1/4 cup icing sugar
-
Melted chocolate

Preheat the oven to 180C degrees. Grease a doughnut pan well.

In a bowl add the flour followed and the syrup, oil, apple sauce and milk. Mix together until a thick dough forms
-
Spoon a spoonful of the mixture into a doughnut pan. Try to not overfill as the shape will ruin
-
Bake for 12-15minutes or until the doughnuts are fully cooked throughout. I use a toothpick as a skewer to ensure its clean, which means the doughnuts are cooked
-
Allow to cool before transferring to a cooling rack and in the meantime mix the coconut cream with icing sugar to form a frosted topping
-
Once the doughnuts are cooked, dip each doughnut into the frosted cream
-
Melt 4 cubes of chocolate of your choice for the chocolate topping
-
Lightly drizzle melted chocolate on top of the frosted topping.
