Frosted Chocolate Drizzle Doughnuts

Doughnut Mixture

  • 2 cups whole meal self raising flour

  • 1/2 syrup

  • 1/4 coconut oil or olive oil ▫️1/2 apple sauce

  • 1 cup oat milk

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • 1/4 cup icing sugar

  • Melted chocolate

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C degrees. Grease a doughnut pan well.

  2. In a bowl add the flour followed and the syrup, oil, apple sauce and milk. Mix together until a thick dough forms

  3. Spoon a spoonful of the mixture into a doughnut pan. Try to not overfill as the shape will ruin

  4. Bake for 12-15minutes or until the doughnuts are fully cooked throughout. I use a toothpick as a skewer to ensure its clean, which means the doughnuts are cooked

  5. Allow to cool before transferring to a cooling rack and in the meantime mix the coconut cream with icing sugar to form a frosted topping

  6. Once the doughnuts are cooked, dip each doughnut into the frosted cream

  7. Melt 4 cubes of chocolate of your choice for the chocolate topping

  8. Lightly drizzle melted chocolate on top of the frosted topping.
