Chocolatey Oats

  • 1 cups oats 

  • 1/2 banana

  • 1/3 cup milk 

  • 1/2 cup grated carrots 

  • 1 tsp mixed spices powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder 

  • 1 tbsp of honey or vegan alternative

  • 2-3 cubes of dark chocolate 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. In a medium bowl mash the banana with the oats, add enough milk to cover the oats, add the grated carrots, mixed spices, cinnamon and a bit more milk if needed just to cover the ingredients. Whisk together and add a squeeze of honey or vegan alternative. 

  2. Coat the inside of a baking dish with some coconut oil or olive oil. Pour the mixture into the baking dish whilst adding 1-2 squares of dark chocolate inside the baking dish. Add chocolate on top of the baking dish. 

  3. Cook the baked oats for 30 minutes or until fully cooked.
